My experience with David Gale and the rest of the team was great. The team are very friendly, reassuring and calm, and it made the experience a lot easier. My case was particularly challenging and David had to think creatively to ensure I recieved the best smile possible. I had my braces on for over three years, but it was all worth it. I am delighted with my smile and I thank David and the team for all their support.

Cannot fault this practice, right from daughter's initial consultation, right through to being fitted with her retainer, the standard of care has been amazing. Staff are friendly, professional and explain every part of the process. I was most impressed at how they talked to my daughter and not just me. Thank you to all at David Gale

Frequently asked questions

  • Am I suitable for Invisalign®?

Most patients looking to improve the appearance of their smiles are suitable for Invisalign® treatment. It is very successful for mild to moderate issues, including overcrowding, misalignment, and gaps. At your initial consultation, we will be able to advise if Invisalign is the best treatment for you.
  • How long do I need to wear the aligners for each day?

You need to wear your Invisalign® aligners for around 22 hours a day for your treatment to be most effective. You can take them out for eating, drinking, and brushing your teeth, but should not have them out of your mouth for too long to avoid disrupting your treatment.
  • How long does Invisalign® treatment take?

Treatment length varies, but most Invisalign® treatment journeys are completed in 9-18 months. Straightforward cases have a faster treatment time, whilst patients needing more complex straightening can expect to wear their aligners for longer. We will advise you of your expected treatment time after your initial consultation.
  • Are the aligners comfortable?

Yes, the aligners are custom-made and designed with comfort in mind. We use accurate scans to ensure a secure and precise fit and have no metal brackets or wires present to irritate your mouth.
  • Will I need to wear retainers after my treatment?

Yes, you will need to wear retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions following your Invisalign® treatment. Teeth have a habit of moving out of place, so you will need to wear retainers on a part-time basis (usually overnight) for as long as you wish your teeth to stay straight. You will be given fixed or removable retainers.
