Digital Printer Lab

We are delighted to have a digital printer lab with digital lab design. This means we can design and plan orthodontic treatments using digital techniques and digital photography. This provides accurate, bespoke results for our patients.

Trios and Medit 3D Scanners

The Trios and Medit digital scanners are two of the most advanced orthodontic devices available. They can create a 3D image of your teeth in minutes.

We have three digital scanners at our practice, which provides access to precise planning and results. The Trios scanner removes the need for messy impressions to be taken and allows more detailed models of the teeth to be created, promoting a better final outcome. The digital nature of the scanner also enables custom-made items such as Invisalign trays to be created more quickly.

Clinical Photography

We take clinical photographs of your teeth on almost every visit. This helps us to keep an accurate record of changes that are happening from one appointment to another.

Digital intra oral scan

We keep computerised digital records of your teeth and we have precise measurements of your teeth with 0.5mm accuracy. We keep electronic records of your teeth and your bite (a bad bite is associated with increased tooth wear over time). We also have records of your gum health, oral hygiene, and dental history (trauma, soft tissue habits, etc) as well as clinical digital images. We are a paperless practice and have instant access to your records when needed.

Digital X-rays

We use state-of-the-art digital X-rays in our practice. The superior clarity and quality means even tiny imperfections in the teeth can be identified and treated, which may otherwise have been missed. With digital, the results are available to view immediately.
